The Flagship terrain location, Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people.

In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at Styer’s is a BYO facility that invites guests to bring their favorite beer, wine, and liquors for their celebration if they so choose. All barware, glassware, bartenders, and most mixers and garnishes are provided.

  • YOUR DAY IN GLEN MILLS...

    begins in our historic Mushroom House, beautifully restored and furnished to serve as a private suite for our couples. Our Ceremony Gardens are a short walk through the nursery grounds, and is a secluded oasis with beautifully maintained lawns and ancient sycamore trees. Here is where you’ll walk down the stone pathway to say your vows beneath our nearly century-old wooden Wedding Temple sourced from India to serve as the focal point of your ceremony.

    In the cooler months or in case of inclement weather, our refurbished Hot House will serve as your indoor ceremony space with our living wall as a back drop. Our Garden Shed, the charming and rustic reception room, has amble space for both dining and dancing. Inquire now to plan your perfect day!

  • With a wide array of gorgeously restored historic buildings on site, Terrain at Styer’s is an ideal location for private brunch, dinner, and cocktail events of all kinds and sizes. Our ever-changing gardens provide a layered horticultural experience and each event space offers a beautiful backdrop for additional florals and décor.

    EVENTS WE HOST

    • Showers in our Garden Shed (30-100 guests) or Hot House (15-30 guests). Showers can be booked no earlier than 6 months prior.
    • Petite Parties in our Mushroom House for up to 15 guests, ideal for sprinkles, engagements, birthday parties and other intimate occasions. Availability is based on concurrent events on the property.
    • Rehearsal Dinners in our Garden Shed (30-100 guests) or Hot House (15-30 guests), offered Monday through Thursday in the warmer months and flexibility for Fridays and Saturdays in the cooler months.
